Hi!

I'm an Art Director and Game Artist from Munich and I love to create colorful worlds.

I originally studied Game Design in Munich and was part of the founding team of Klonk Games. Over the years I grew from a general game artist into an Art Director, learning how to balance creative ideas with the practical realities of production, such as time, budget and team workflows.


Today my work focuses on educational and research-based games for children. At Meister Cody I collaborated closely with universities and educational experts to turn scientific concepts into playful digital experiences.

I particularly enjoy working at the intersection of art, game design and research — translating complex ideas into intuitive gameplay and visuals that are engaging and accessible for kids.


Creating cute, cozy worlds that genuinely help children learn and grow has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work, and I’m always excited about new opportunities to contribute to projects with a positive impact.

SKILLS

Defining and refining visual styles and art pipelines, taking budget, skills and technical constraints into account


Designing cute, colorful 2D graphics and illustrations for games aimed at children


Creating 2D character and gameplay animations in Spine2D


Designing intuitive UI and UX for interactive learning apps


Developing gameplay ideas and visual mechanics based on educational or research-driven concepts


Coordinating and communicating between design, development and research teams


Modelling and texturing stylized 3D assets, mainly props and environments


Drawing everything from concept sketches to production-ready assets

Creating social media graphics, promotional assets and print materials such as posters, flyers and event displays.

SOFTWARE

Over time my workflow has shifted more towards stylized illustration, UI design and 2D animation for educational games. The following tools are part of my regular process:


Unity3D: Asset integration, scene management, light baking, UI implementation, animation systems


Procreate: Illustration, character art and texture painting


Affinity Designer: Vector illustration, UI elements and interface design


Figma: Screen flows, wireframes and UI design


Spine2D: Character and gameplay animation


Blender: Stylized prop and environment modelling, unwrapping, texturing and basic animation


InDesign: Layout and production of design documents and print materials


Canva: Quick layouts for social media, presentations and marketing materials


Google Workspace: Collaborative documents, presentations and project documentation
