Steampumpkins is a location-based artillery game in which players around the world can battle each other by slinging different fruits and vegetables with their catapult. They can grow and harvest their ammunition in their virtual garden and upgrade their catapults to gain the upper hand. Initially we were only asked to consult on the game design of an alpha version of Steampumpkins but in the end we were commissioned to partially rework the game into a mobile app and add new gameplay features.

For me this included reworking existing textures to fit a more stylized and mobile-friendly look, completely re-designing the user interface and adding new 3D models, textures and icons that harmonized with the assets we were instructed to keep.

A Mock-up for the catapult screen. Here the player can upgrade their catapult and immediately see the difference in the 3D model.
